Signed First Edition. Folded stiff cardstock printing of a brief poem that first appeared in The New Yorker in 1996. This edition was designed by John Kristensen as a Christmas card in an edition of 185 unnumbered copies produced by William B. Ewert in 1998 for private distribution. This copy is inscribed “for Bev Chaney Merry Christmas! John Updike”. Chaney was a rare books dealer. Very good.
