Catalog of reproduced glass plate photographs taken between 1908-1914 by Elmer G. Jacobs (1882-1964), of Grafton, New York. The exhibition was put together by Paul E. Grattan, O.D., on behalf of Rensselaer County in celebration of Independence Day, 1967. One unpaginated volume.~~The catalog presents Jacobs’ photography in 5 sections - the Town of Grafton, the people who live there, the annual summer visitors, the Troy Waterworks, later part of Grafton State Park, and a trip to NYC in 1909. ~~A completely unique record of early 20th-century small town New York by an unknown photographer. Excellent photographs and in very good condition. ~~Most uncommon. We find no copies online as of April 26, 2026.
