Soft cover program for the 1949-1950 season of the Ballet Theatre, founded in 1939. Contains illustrations, photographs, and articles about the theatre, its performances, and its history. 11 3/4” x 9”, 42 pp., good+. Single partial ring-stain from coffee or the like on top left front cover; cover designs are by Vertes.~~Laid in are 2 local programs for performances in Richmond, VA. One is a pristine 9”x6” two-toned 4pp pamphlet by “The Virginia Record Shop, Inc.” advertising the ballet’s January 12, 1951 performance at the Mosque. The second is a different, also pristine 8 1/2” x 11” green-toned program for their performance at the Mosque on January 6, 1953.~.
