Stapled Pamphlet. 9 1/2” x 7” 20-pp softcover pamphlet outlining the concert dedication of the Virginia War Memorial Carillon, from October 15-November 15, 1932. Commemorated to honor the dead who served in WWI, it contains 66 bells and cost the city $325,000 to erect.~~The program connects the memory of those lost with the sound of the bells, gives the history of its being built, information about the bells, the musical dedication programming, donors, and pencil illustrations of the bells and clavier inside. The volume closes with the sites historic connection to George Washington. ~~Top 1/2” of front edge discolored; otherwise very good condition. Scarce.
