Large quarto; in the publisher’s blue cloth with dustjacket; xxvii, 928 pages, with portrait; there is a minuscule gift inscription penned at the bottom of the front endpaper; there are few faint spots to the edges of the textblock; the original title page is reproduced; it reads “Mr. William Shakespeares | Comedies. | Histories, & | Tragedies. ~Published according to the true original Copies. | London | Printed by Isaac Iaggard, and E. Blout. 1623”.~~The dustjacket has some discoloration and a small chip at top of the fold of the front flap. The flap is price-clipped.
