Limited Edition. 4to; in the publisher’s tan cloth with the seal of the Commonwealth of Virginia on the upper board, backed in brown cloth with titling in gilt; xxxii pages, [1 leaf], 254 pages, [1 leaf]; with portrait frontispiece of William Byrd, and illustrated with 94 black and white plates, some of which fold out, and five fold out maps, including the splendid facsimiles of Jed Hotchkiss’s Thirty Miles Around Richmond, Beer’s Map of a Portion of Richmond, 1876, and the Map Showing Territorial Growth of Richmond reproduced in color; all accompanied by extensive descriptive text by Mr. Weddell. The Edition is Limited to Six Hundred Copies, of which this copy is #29.~~Really a nice copy, with no tears to the splendid maps. (Haynes 20900).
