In the publisher’s buff card stock wrappers, printed in black and in red; 13 pages; there are no marks in the pamphlet.~~The seventh of the Lahr publishing company’s Blue Moon Booklets, in which Mr. Lahr set out to defy the English climate of censorship. His publishing of Balls and Another Book for Suppression “directly attacked the Home Secretary’s censoring zeal and challenged the moral crusaders’ distinction between pornography and art.” [Huw Osborne; Charles Lahr and the Censors]. Lahr was an anarchist and ran The Progressive Bookshop in London in the 1930.
