Limited Edition. Quarto; an accordion-fold in linen covered boards; 4 pages; one of 20 copies designed, illustrated with original watercolors, printed by letterpress, and hand-bound by Carol Blinn; limited to 20 copies of which this is #6; signed by Carol Blinn. who wrote this poem “after six summers of ball-watching”.~~An appropriately summer time production (Ms. Blinn created it in the summer of 1987), celebrating swimming pools and color. The title page has accents of blue and yellow watercolor and the last page before the colophon has the palette used in the production. The central illustration depicts three balls floating on a beautiful blue pool. Laid in is a copy of a portfolio describing the process of producing the book.~~Bound in linen cloth with a watercolor label in blue and green; housed in a box of matching linen backed in green morocco, lettered in gilt.
