An accordion mounted optical diorama, or peepshow, comprised of three color lithgraphed sheets, two of which are cut-outs and one as background; with a lithographed cover showing the entrance to the tunnel (on which side?) pierced with two peepholes through which the viewer is treated to a very lively perspective of the interior of the tunnel. French engineer Marc Brunel was responsible for the construction of the tunnel, the first to have been built under a navigable river. Housed in paper sleeve with a beige printed title label.
