Mr. Krick sums it thus: “This is the story of Pen Pennix from childhood through a tragic life. He becomes a school teacher, moves to Oklahoma, is divorced and suffers through a child custody quarrel and terrible family tragedies. The novel ends when he learns of the death of his son.” (Krick 422).
Very Good binding.
