Contains lists of debits and credits owed to and by dozens of local farmers, craftsmen, and suppliers, whose names are conveniently indexed by hand in the front of the book. Among them is Elias Randal, known for trying to kick Parley Pratt, one of the first Twelve Apostles of Mormonism, out of the town of Mentor, Ohio. Accounts range from meticulously measured barley purchases to large cash transfers. Endpapers covered with mathematical calculations and doodles.
