With “Sketches of the Barbary States in the early issues of this volume; an article on “The Sage of Monticello” (p. 317); an interesting account on why the flag of the United States should not be changed (p, 355); the captors of Major Andre; and much in the last couple of issues on the selection of a site for a Naval Depot around the Chesapeake Bay.
