Also with an odd six-leaf signature for Proverbs laid in, from a small edition, and two extraneous leaves bound in, on the ‘State of the Church’ and a ‘Sketch of the Pagan, Papal, and Christian Church.’ Collates complete; 4o: A-5N4 [$1-2 signed] unnumbered leaves. 4o: A-E4 [$1-2 signed] unnumbered leaves. Discrete repairs by a conservator using Japanese tissue to the extremities of the spine and joints, especially the bottom of the rear joint. Full calf with a black leather label. (ESTC T166051).
