The 12 volumes in brown half-morocco over marbled boards, with top edges gilt and lettering and decorations to the spines in gilt; illustrated with plates, maps, plans, portraits, a nd facsimiles. Considered the best edition of Fiske. An attractive set, with a small chip to the top of the spine in one volume.
