Following Detective-Inspector Midwinter of Scotland Yard, investigating the murder of Martin Knox, a kindly and well-to-do member of the sleepy village of Daleham-on-Exe. Text is unmarked. Small tear to the top of the front joint of the dustjacket, sunning to the spine, slight shadow of a dampstain on the bottom of the spine, and small surface loss at the top of the spine. Red cloth with black lettering. Top edge black. Overall in Very Good condition with Very Good dustjacket.
