The German doctor is one of the first to devote himself almost exclusively to the science of otology, and his works were soon translated into English by J. R. Bennett (1837) and French by Prosper Meniere (1848). First published in 1833, under the title Erfahrungen uber die Erkenntniss und Heilung der langwierigen Schwerhorigkeit. Scattered foxing. Loss to the leather binding at the extremities of the spine and along the joints. Quarter blue leather over blue marbled paper boards. (Stedman; Buck (ed.)
