Full Leather. An early American book of poetry, with a variant of Yankee Doodle and other poetical selections, most from English authors. Some toning to the text, and contemporary markings in pencil on the front endpaper. Joints fully cracked but holding well; some staining to the leather binding along the spine and joints; loss at the extremities of the spine, and some surface loss to the boards. Full sheepskin or calf, with a red leather label. (Shaw & Shoemaker 13563. Sabin 78980).
