Text printed on the recto only, with simple red borders. Five clippings of verses from the work pasted onto blank versos, with toning to the opposite pages. Scattered markings in pencil, and a few notes in ink by a contemporary owner. Japanese tissue repair to the hinges. Spots of loss to the front joint, and slight loss to the extremities of the spine. Brown cloth with gilt lettering and black decorations. All edges red.
