Roberts is called the Father of Canadian Poetry, due to his own works and the supportive relation he maintained with many major Canadian poets in their early years. Publisher’s advertisements at the front, listing nine titles. Complete, with portrait frontispiece, tissue guard bound in; xii, 222 pp. Armorial bookplate of a Jefferson Wallace, Richmond, on the front pastedown; with his signature, dated 1929, on the front flyleaf. Else no marks of any kind. Minor loss to the top of the spine; wear to the joints; spots of scuffing to the edges of the boards. Three quarters red morocco with gilt lettering, over red marbled paper. Top edge gilt. Very Good. OCLC notes one institutional holding.
