With ten plates and an illustrated title page, engraved and hand colored; lacking plate 3: “Twenty Years - A Youth.” The illustration on the engraved title page presumably depicts ‘Zero Years - A Babe.” Contemporary owner’s name on the front endpaper; faint foxing throughout. Publisher’s quarter green cloth over pictorial paper covered boards, reproducing the illustrations for the title page and the final plate on the front and rear boards, birth and death. Very Good. Uncommon, OCLC notes only four institutional holdings.
