One of 178 volumes penned by this prolific 19th century cleric, who edited journals, wrote books for the American Sunday-school Union and held several pastorates [Appleton’s Cyclopaedia of American Biography, Vol. IV, p. 502 (1888). First printed in 1830, in an edition with a folding map, this later printing of The Monthly Concert is without map as issued. Boards have some stains, as well as some minor rippling to the cloth.
