Library stamps on the verso of the title page, the first page of text, and page 50. Foxing throughout. Bookplate of A. L. Pierson, a doctor from Salem, Massachusetts, on the front pastedown; library bookplate on the rear pastedown. Half leather over marbled paper boards, with a black leather label on the spine. All edges yellow. Silk ribbon marker bound in.
