An important source for ancient Roman medical knowledge, revised and expanded from Linden’s edition of 1657. Additional title page, engraved. Title page in red and black, with a printer’s device, and some writing in ink. Index and errata at the rear. , 574,  pp. Collates complete. Half leather over marbled paper covered boards. Black leather label with lettering stamped in gilt; tooling on the spine rolled in blind and in gilt. Front hinge reinforced by a conservator using japanese tissue. Very Good.
