Edinburgh and London: William Blackwood and Sons, n.d.
16mo. Half Leather. The full set of Tales from Blackwood in 12 volumes, bound in 6; accompanied by the New Series, in 12 separate volumes. The 18 volumes are uniformly bound in crimson half-morocco over marbled boards with matching marbled endpapers; spine with raised bands and gilt rules, lettered and numbered in gilt. Unfortunately the spine of one volume -- Volume V of the Tales -- has darkened considerably, but still an attractive set. An old price is penned on the verso of the front endpaper of each volume. The attractive ex-libris of Julia Hazlehurst of Halton Grange is on the pastedown of each volume.
Very Good binding.
