Full Leather. A Luther Bible, with 40 “excellent plates” called for, of which 39 appear to be present. Some plates are numbered and some are not, but the numbered plates appear to skip from plate 30 to plate 32 (though there is no evidence of excision) With a separate title page for “Das Neue Testament”, and a two blank leaves with elaborate borders of “Familien Register”between the testaments. 932 pages; bound in mottled calf with raised bands and morocco label; lacking the leather clasps.
