Full Leather. A handsome set in burgundy diced calf, with boards ruled in gold at the perimeters; spines with decorations in gold and black morocco labels. The rear board of Volume 1 has been reattached and the interior hinge has been reinforced. Volume One with frontiespiece portrait of Smollett. Some minor loss to the spine extremities.
