[Washington, D.C.]: Self-published, 1939.
Compiled shortly before World War II by The Lydia Class, a woman’s organization of the Ninth Street Christian Church in Washington, D.C. 132 pp. with mostly recipes, but also tables of weights and measures, and household hints. Some staining to the wrappers, and a repaired closed tear. An uncommon community cookbook with a single copy located on OCLC, and that at the Smithsonian. And remember, “Once a Lydia, always a Lydia”.
Very Good binding.
