Established in the Session-room of the Rosemary Street Church in Belfast in 1829, the prospectus for it stated “In its pages the precious truths of the Gospel shall be faithfully maintained...the principles of the Reformation vindicated...the cause of vital godliness advocated, and the distinguishing tenets of Presbyterianism explained and defended.”~Much information from the well-covered obituaries and insight into “social evils” of the day. This is Volume I, containing the first 12 monthly issues, beginning with October, 1829. The magazine continued until 1837. 1/4 bound over paper-covered boards, with some loss to the paper covering.
