Birmingham: James Cond, 1930.
Soft Cover. Gorgeous views of the new Grosvenor House Hotel by the Stewart Knock Studio and Milner Gray, as well as scenes from Hyde Park and environs. Very nice ads as well, related to the furnishings and fittings of the new hotel. The new hotel was designed by Lutyens, and rooms in the Grosvenor House reflect the “moderne” style, derivative of Art Deco. Quite a nice copy with just a bit of shelfwear. Laid in is complimentary card from the Board of Directors of the Grosvenor Houses, and blank postal telegram to be used in making a reservation.
Very Good+ binding.
