It was founded by cartoonist Henry Maigrot and had as its mission to ridicule the Germans and support the morale of the French during World War I. Fantastic illustrations in the pochoir style by Gus Bofa, Leander, Capy, Metivet and many other. This is Volume 8, from the third year of the magazine. It contains 13 issues, from No. 92 (5 Avril 1917) through No. 104 (28 Juin 1917). One issue (No. 102 14 Juin 1917) has some loss to the rear page, affecting the art work on that page.
