One large bifolium sheet printed on all four sides--page size is roughly 14” x 20”; the paper is still quite supple; some general edgewear; faint water-staining; a fantastic snapshot of history with local and international news which includes updates of Europe in the midst of the Napoleonic Wars as well as the endlessly entertaining classifieds; one notable as is as follows: “The subscriber takes this method to inform the inhabitants of the New-England states that he is possessed of a safe and effectual remedy for that dreadful malady called a CANCER.” There is a post scrip noting that “the subscriber,” Mr. John Coats can also take care of “the Piles.”.
