Hard Cover. Illustrated edition of Calvin’s Bible. Many text vignettes. The Psalms in this edition are the celebrated translation into rimed French by Theodore Beza and Clement Marot. Geneva Bible rebound in maroon cloth. Engraved title page has loss at the bottom edge, and a piece of table. Quite light pink stain (no doubt from the maroon cloth binding). Title page has tape repair. Entire text block has stain to bottom several inches. Several leaves (especially at rear of book) have loss. Digital images can be provided if requested.
