Very Good copy issued in stiff vellum binding titled in gold on the spine with silk ties; the ties are detached and laid in; early Kelmscott publication printed in Morris’s Golden Type. Lovely six- and ten-line initials; shoulder notes and stanza numbers printed in red. Light soiling to the deckled edges and some toning to the endsheets where the ties are laid in; some offsetting from the ties when they were still attached to one page in the text. Typical light soiling to the vellum binding; digital images can be made available upon request. (Peterson A3).
